We raise an assortment of rabbits, poultry, and waterfowl for production, exhibition, and pet, with many of our breeds listed as threatened or critical by the American Livestock Breed Conservacy. In addition, we buy, sell, trade, and adopt most small animals (no dogs or cats). If you are interested in doing a trade or have an animal that needs to be rehomed let us know.
Provided on this site is information about raising and breeding the animals we have broken down into articles under each heading in the menu to the left. We are still working to include as many articles as possible (including more pictures) as time goes on. If you have a question or suggestion then feel free to send an email to:

Updates
Currently we are all sold out of Pilgrims for March, but should have another few hatches in April. If you are interested in having your own pair of goslings, please send an email as soon as possible to ensure that you don't have to wait until 2011.
Raising Your Own Meat
“A peasant becomes fond of his pig and is glad to salt away its pork. What is significant, and is so difficult for the urban stranger to understand, is that the two statements in that sentence are connected by an and and not by a but.”
John Berger
This is a very touchy subject for a lot of people and an article has been written that explains all of the benefits of raising your own animals for meat. With that being said, if we are getting an animal from you and you do not want it to go for meat, we will respect your wishes. Just let us know in advance and we will make plans accordingly.
